These images are from Chinese website chinaontrade.com and show what looks like the new frame for the next generation iPhone. This looks like it would replace the chrome trim that surrounds the screen on the iPhone and iPhone 3G. Also shown is what they claim to be the new Screen for the next gen iPhones.

Apple holds aspirations of extending digital camera functions found on its popular iPhone handset to its iPod touch digital media players, according a listing posted on the company’s website last month.
Tyler from AppleiPhoneApps pointed us to a March 16th Apple job listing for a Camera Project Manager, which notes that the company’s iPhone Engineering Group “is looking for a Camera Engineering Project Manager (EPM) to drive the design, development and integration of camera modules across iPhone and iPod.”
“The EPM is the interface between our internal engineering teams and the suppliers of sensors, lenses and camera modules,” the listing says. “In this highly cross functional role the EPM will work closely together with the HW, SW and mechanical engineering team to coordinate all aspects of the camera module design, production and integration.”
The listing provides some of the most compelling evidence yet to suggest that photo — and possibly video — capabilities will soon make their way to the iPod touch. Recent reports have also indicated that the next iPhone will see its camera upgraded from 2.0 megapixels to 3.2 megapixels while also gaining video recording capabilities.
Over the weekend, further evidence was discovered within unreleased builds of iPhone Software 3.0 implying that next-generation iPhone owners will also be able to perform some rudimentary video editing on the clips they take, essentially corroborating an earlier AppleInsider report that predicted the same.
There are also rumors that Apple plans to order 5 mp camera components from OmniVision for an upcoming device later this year, maybe this is how Apple plans to use the new camera hardware.

In today’s Business 24-7 article, it stated that a new iPhone would be due out in June. It also stated that the current iPhone 3G will be available in UAE on February 15, as iClarified covered here
June does seem like a logical time for the next iPhone, since Apple usually releases a new iPhone every year.
The latest 3G model will become available on February 15 according to Dow Jones, and etisalat will be targeting private and business users. Both post-paid and prepaid subscribers will be able to use the product and voice, data and SMS services will be available. And the next version of the device, which is due out in June, will be launched in the UAE at the same time.

The rumors are starting to circulate again as Chinese accessory manufacturers have supposedly gotten their hands on the mold of what they claim is Apple’s new iPhone Nano.
It’s easy to conclude that the Chinese accessory manufacturers can easily get access to this info and molds via other local people in the business and workers in the manufacturing plants. They use this info to plan what new accessories they can have inline and ready for sale when the new product is released. Following a hunch and creating accessories for an iPhone Nano before it has even been announced is a risk that can either cost the company or generate millions of dollars.
One such iPhone (and other mobile phones) accessory manufacturer XSKN has leaked some of it’s renderings of it’s new mold for the rumored iPhone Nano. It is rumored to be the same height as the recently release Nano Chromatic but wider and thicker and with the new iPhone 3G shape and materials. It has 3 sensors, built in camera, mirror screen (I guess like the LG Shine) but no 3G. Steve Jobs is said will be announcing it during the January MacWorld 09 show and it will be in stores shortly afterward, but still no idea if it will be available unlocked or not. First thing you’ll notice is that the case is very form fitting so we have a good idea of the shape of the rumored iPhone Nano. Next I realized there was no headphone jack on the top, so maybe this has been moved to the bottom of the device. Other than that there seems to be no front facing camera or additional buttons. If you remember there were some photos that surfaced of an iPhone Touch Screen that measured 2.8″ and not the 3.2″ of the current iPhone and allot of other iPhone Nano Rumors.

This is just a follow up on the rumor last week that Wal-Mart is going to be offering an iPhone 3G with the longtime discontinued 4GB storage capacity. Wal-Mart is indeed set to sell the iPhone 3G, but the only change will be a small discounted price set at $197 USD with standard AT&T contracts etc. This should clear up any rumors of a 4G or nano version of Apples iPhone anytime soon.
BoyGeniusReport has posted a tip that they got from an insider that says that the iPhone 3G may soon be for sale in Walmart for $99 with a 2 year contract.
The weird part of all of this is that it’s the 4Gb model that the tipster says will be for sale. Apple discontinued the 4GB in the first model iPhone, but at $99, a 4GB model may be a steal of a deal.
It may not hold thousands of songs and videos, but 4GB is more than enough to enjoy your iPhone. For now this is a big fat rumor, but BoyGeniusReport has got some pretty reliable tips in the past about Apple products.

While the Let’s Yawn - I mean - Rock event yesterday was big and everything, besides the iPods and iTunes and little if any news about an iPhone/Touch 2.1 update, allot of people were expecting allot more. There have been allot of rumors recently about Apple getting reading to launch a Multi Touch enabled MacBook, but there was no news outside of the iTunes, iPods/Touch updates.
Daring Fireball’s John Gruber reports that according to his sources Apple is planning another event on October 14th just for its laptop line. Ahh, hopefully we will see some new faster aluminium MacBooks, a new faster thinner lighter MacBook Pro, an updated MacBook Air with a faster processor and 120GB HDD (same as the new iPod Classic). Please can I haz?
