iPhone Graphic User Interface Photoshop File for App Designers

Geoff Teehan of teehan+lax posted a really in depth free Photoshop (PSD) file that has some great pieces of the Graphic User Interface for the iPhone that they created for presentations and software development. This is great for iPhone/Touch app/software designers and/or anyone else who would like to use/view the artwork.

It’s a work in progress (so make sure to check their site for updates) and they have posted some updates for v1.1:

• changed document to 160ppi
• added number and symbol keyboard views
• added key press
• added address book alphabetical navigation widget
• added plus icon
• added new checked and unchecked elements

MyTriniPhone wins Grand Prize for Simplified Entry in iLounge 3G Design Contest

Not even a week after I posted that I saw so many great designs submitted for the iLounge Design the next 3G iPhone Competition, the results have been posted and I am shocked. I actually won a prize! Grand Prize in the Simplified Entries category to be exact. I am so deeply humbled. It was for this design. Click on the image for full size.

I must thank my online buddy g for his input into the design as he guided / prompted / bugged me to make it look like what his ’source with sauce’ said it should look like. (based on my/his/their personal preference and insider info on the 3G iPhone)

Yowzer Thanks iLounge, unfortunately I am outside the USA, so I don’t think I qualify to win the 3G iPhone, but I may ask for it to be delivered as a ‘gift’ to my friends in Louisiana. If not I will gladly settle for the cash prize or whatever I am offered, thanks

Cool 3G iPhone Design Concept Video

The iLounge 3G Design Contest came around a couple days after I had posted a few quick PhotoShop designs that I had done for the new 3G iPhone. So obviously when I heard about it, I immediately entered to try and get my hands on the new 3G iPhone or at least the $400 cash prize so I could buy one (hell I would even enjoy the iTunes gift cards).

But after seeing some of the entries, and the video below in particular that I found on digg today, I think I should just be happy they accepted my entry lol.

Rumor or Real? More White iPhone Case Spy Shots

Here we go again and again about these leaked iPhone cases, but this time there are some interesting looking stuff about these new photos that were leaked to iPhoneclub.nl and Macfreak.nl

If you look closely at the high res photos below you will see some definite Apple looking case design. Looking fatter and curvier than ever though, I like the white, but I really wonder how thick it is in comparison to the current model. I have gotten accustomed to the slimness

(this one below is upside down) - the reason the screen is white is because there is no guts in the case, this is only the outer case and screen, buttons etc.I have taken apart a few iPhone and it kinda looks like how the phone would look without the internal components. You can barely see the camera hole in the headset.

What do you think of it?
