I opened up the box and finally turned the iPhone 3G on and viola, service! (click the image on the left for full size) It’s obviously roaming on Digicel’s Network as per the carrier number being displayed, I can easily see people being fooled into thinking the phone is unlocked, until they get a bill from AT&T. So anyone buying an iPhone 3G, please swap sims to ensure you are still getting signal.
I am also seeing under carrier settings BMobile listed so I can swap between the two, I am not seeing any signal for 3G obviously.
As mentioned before the iPhone 3G Box is smaller, becasue of the missing iPhone 3G dock, but other than that, standard Apple issue, headphones, tiny new power adapter, usb plug, cleaning cloth, stickers, finger tips, the new Sim Removal Tool, and warranty info etc.
