I upgraded my baseband by mistake via itunes with the 2.2.1 upgrade. How long will it be before i can use my phone again?

Hi
I am a 2G user and have upgraded my phone to 2.2 what i would like to ask is there any way i could change the tel number above the contacts list "My Number + 1868 etc" as it does not represent my true number. i believe it's the person who 1st jailbreaked the phone's tel number.

I have a new 3GS and have downloaded sweetooth (having jailebreaked it etc) but sweetooth won't run. it starts with the splashscreen then after about 10 seconds quits back to desktop.

What can I do to make it work?
