use blackra1n.com for the jailbreak and once you have jailbroken the phone and reboot a black rain drop app appears click it and use the unlock that it provides

iphone unlock uk claim to have a simple and easy jailbreak for the 3GS, however after numerous attempts including talking to the technical advisor over the phone who decided to put me on hold for 10 minutes not realising i could hear his holiday conversation with his partner, with that then decided to put the phone down on me. I took the phone to a shop who do phone unlocking and they said that the brand new iphone 3GS cannot be unlocked because apple have placed a block on the phone, how true this i don't know but i don't recommend people use this site as they are rude and very unhelpful and will find every way they can to not refund you. Please avoid!!!
