WOW!, its been months since i posted to this blog, and now looking at it I have 60 comments, 500 spam and 19 plugins to update
I must really apologize for not updating the site or making any announcement of the state, for that I am truely sorry. I must also thank SRASC (Scott) for occasionally posting updates to the site. And most of all thank you to the ~600 or so subscribers and members that have stuck around.
I have been thinking of selling the site recently and was made a few good offers. But I am also thinking of updating the site and covering a wider range of topics and phones.
Let me know what you guys think.

Apple will not return a stolen iPhone to to the original owner after the thief took the phone in to get serviced due to the victim’s failure to file a police report.
After getting her iPhone stolen, one reader relayed to Consumerist the tale of her failed attempts to try to get it back from AT&T and Apple. The crime happened on the subway in New York city, after which the victim promptly called the police who searched the area to no avail.
Several weeks later the victim received an email from Apple notifying her that someone had filed a request to replace her broken phone through Apple Care. Her email was linked to the serial number of the phone so she received all messages regarding service and warranty work. After hours spent on the phone with Apple and AT&T she was notified since a police report was never filed she doesn’t have sufficient evidence to get her phone back.
“So I call AT&T… and over the course of 12 hours I speak to a bunch of people who are all very sorry that this is the situation I’m in, but their hands are tied — they have to honor the warranty and it does not matter that it’s clear the phone is mine. They would need the authorities to tell them to do otherwise,” writes the victim.
Despite the fact that she went to the precinct and had the authorities call Apple to verify her story, Apple stuck to its guns. To Apple, she has no real way of proving that she is still the owner of the phone. Apple has refused to act on her behalf and instead chose to honor the warranty agreement.
(come on Apple!)

Ustream announced Wednesday the availability of Ustream Live Broadcaster in the iPhone App Store. The company touts that it is the first live broadcast software made available for the iPhone and iPod touch. With it, anyone can broadcast live video from their phone.
“The Ustream Live Broadcaster is a free app that enables live streaming on 3G or Wifi, and users can notify their Twitter communities when they start broadcasting, and interact with their viewers using chat or Twitter through Ustream’s Social Stream,” the company said.
The application is said to require the iPhone 3G or iPhone 3GS with iPhone OS 3.1 or later. It allows polls, works in portrait mode, can auto-record, and can record and save for upload later. Recordings can be shared on Ustream, YouTube, Twitter and Facebook. The free 6.1MB download is available through iTunes.
(Correct me if I’m wrong but doesn’t Qik (available in Cydia & now the App Store for a while now) do the same thing?)

Available via the Big Boss repo in Cydia, iClassic brings the iPod classic interface down to the click wheel to your iPhone/iPod touch. You can choose whether you want a black or white iPod classic, among its customizing features. The shake to shuffle feature of some of the latest iPods is there as well. Make note though that this is not a replacement app of sorts to the iPod app already pre-installed.

I chose the black personally (goes with my actual black iPod classic).
