ClockScreen for your iPhone SpringBoard

ClockScreen is a new app available on Cydia for your iPhone or iPod Touch that allows you to view the date and time easily on your springboard.

ClockScreen comes in 3 flavors once your download it from Cydia, the clockscreen alone, the ClockScreen with the weather widget in the clock bar, andthe WbApp version which allows you to configure the weather widget once enabled in WbApp.

The theme takes a little setting up as you have to move the blank icons installed so that the ClockScreen is visible. Here is my install on my iPhone running the Bez Theme and Stacks. Check out MyTriniPhone on Flickr for more.

clockscreen 2.0 iphone 3G 2.2.1 qwkpwn 2.2.5 can't select user background only your red bg, others will show for lock screen but that's all, also two shades of black for your clock bg, why not make it transparent and choice of top or bottom

How can I make more blank icons? I have a lot of apps that stretch up to 6 pages. And why does the blank icon launch safari everytime I touch the icon…very annoying!!

if u want your own back ground you will have 2 ssh into your ipod/phone and change the wallpaer in the theme directory and remember to keep a backup of the origional file and remember to name the new wallpaper to the sane name as the original file.

ps does anyone how to get more blank icons???

Just in case anyone still doesn't know this…….there is an app in cydia called iblank which allows you to create blank icons. But I am also confused as to why safari is launched every time you touch any of the blank icons. Also, I had this installed for a while, then today rejailbroke because my iPhone 3G was getting slow, and now I can't get it to work at all. In the More Info on cydia, it says you can use WbApp to edit the location info etc. and this worked for me last time, but today when I tried to reinstall everything from cydia, clockscreen didn't work. I have tried removing/reinstalling several times, tried different combinations in winterboard, and nothing seems to work. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

I had this installed and then used the restore method to upgrade to 3.0 firmware and now the 12 blank icons are stuck on my springboard. I have used iphonebrowser to try and find the clockscreen info but it doesnt seem to appear on my iphone anymore. does anyone know where the command to auto add the blank apps onto the springboard would b located in my iphone. any help would be really appreciated.

ok an update for anyone having the same or related problems. To get rid of the blank apps you will need something like iphone browser and you go to /var/mobile/Library/WebClips on ur iphone and delete each of the blank folders one by one. as far as I can tell this has solved the problem (they haven't reappeared yet)

u can get blanknull of cydia which stops you opening safari when you click on a blank icon.
