Softbank in Japan announced that they will ship a tv-tuner together with a extra battery charger with the iPhone 3G. The 1-Seg tv tuner will deliver tv signal via Wi-Fi. For this to work users will need to insert a small receiver in your bag or clothing and you will be able to watch 3H non-stop tv. Softbank will start the sales of the 1-Seg with the iPhone 3G mid December. The device will work via a free 1-Seg application that will
be available for download from the App Store for free. Unfortunately this will only work in Japan and maybe Brazil who use the 1Seg standard.
