Veency Remote Desktop Server for iPhone/Touch - Control your iPhone Springboard from your Mac/PC

By Aaron Besson at 19 September, 2008, 12:17 pm

Jay Freeman (aka Saurik) has created a remote desktop server for iPhone and iPod Touch users who wish to access their device from their Mac/PC. Veency (available on Cydia) allows you to control and view the Springboard and access the Apps through the computer, use the mouse to drag the screen, open Apps even make calls (you’ll need to use the actual phone to hear and talk though), open sms, notes or email and start typing with your Mac/PC keyboard and the text will start appearing on the iPhone and on your PC/Mac screen.

There is no password or toggle for the server; however, these feature are planned in the future. Jay is continuing to amaze me with the apps that he is coming out with for the iPhone. I am working on a video so check back soon fi you wish to see this in action before using it. I used Chicken of the VNC for Mac, there are allot of other clients out there for Mac and PC. Enjoy and Happy Friday!
