XiPhone from iUnlocked first Screenshots - New GUI for XPWN
By Aaron Besson at 26 August, 2008, 10:31 pm
iUnlocked.org announced that they have been working hard at creating a interface around the Open Source XPWN Code released by the Dev Team a few weeks ago. XiPhone will be allow the user to create a custom firmware that is jailbreaked, activated and bundled with BootNeuter (to unlock 2G iPhones), Cydia and/or Installer. The developers are currently looking for some feedback from users so make sure to zip over to iUnlocked.org and let them know what you think.
Features:
- Auto downloading of stock firmware files from appleās site (no need to hunt for it then select it)*
- Wizard based modern GUI (created with .net 2.0), and Vista Style UI.
- Export of firmware settings so users can pass around an XML file which contains a configuration that works for them.
- Auto updates to the XiPhone software.
- Community based wallpapers used for Bootscreen, Restore screen and others
- Enabling / Disabling of options available based on the device you select.
* is that legal?
