Geoff Teehan of teehan+lax posted a really in depth free Photoshop (PSD) file that has some great pieces of the Graphic User Interface for the iPhone that they created for presentations and software development. This is great for iPhone/Touch app/software designers and/or anyone else who would like to use/view the artwork.
Cycorder is the newest iPhone Video software from Jay Freeman, creator of Cydia and Winterboard. Unlike Dream Catchers iPhone Video Recorder, Cycorder is FREE, and seems to record with slighter better quality. I am not sure if it’s because of the difference in compression or the encoding, but others besides myself have noticed and improvement. Here is a sample Video.

Digg.com’s Kevin Rose has posted a new blog entry and YouTube video claiming to have knowledge of upcoming iPod and iTunes 8 updates with a significant number of details:
- Revamp of entire iPod line.
- Small cosmetic changes to Touch, Nano to see significant redesign (see above)
- iPods to see fairly large price drops to distance itself from the $199 iPhone. - iPod touch 2.1 software, iPhone to get update very soon after. - iTunes 8.0 (”it’s a big update w/new features”).
- All of this coming in the next 2-3 weeks.
- Blu-Ray support coming in Mac OS X 10.5.6
How will the iTunes 8 affect PWNAGE and WinPWN. I am sure Apple is releasing it on the iPod Touch first to see if the Dev’s can still PWN (jailbreak) it.
I received the RebelSims I ordered a few weeks ago today and finally got a chance to test it out. I recorded the entire thing, from putting on the two sided tape to inserting and making a call.
iPhone 3G users are reporting that they are receiving SMS’s from Apple and AT&T prompting them to update to 2.0.2 to hopefully resolve 3G service issues.
“A free message from Apple and AT&T: An important software update for iPhone 3G has been available on iTunes since this past Monday. To get it, simply synch your iPhone 3G with iTunes and click the “Check For Update” button.”
Apple is aware of the 3G problem and insist that it only affect 2% of 3G owners. They hope to resolve this with the mentioned 2.0.2 iPhone firmware update.
I just popped in my AT&T Sim in my AT&T activated 3G and I didn’t get the message, oh well. Off to test the new Reb Sims that arrived earlier. Check soon for video.
