iPhone Nano Rumors - Again

By Aaron Besson at 4 August, 2008, 7:31 am

Ever since the iPhone came out, there have been rumors of it having a little brother, somewhere out there. The rumors first started when this photo of what was supposed to be the iPhone Nano started showing up.

The next round of rumors came jsut before the 2008 WWDC earlier this year when photos of a 2.8″ touchscreen surfaced alongside the 3.2″ touch screen currently used by Apple in its iPhone and iPod Touch prpoducts.

The latest round of rumors are coming from DailyMail.co.uk. They recently published an article saying that - “The product will be launched in the UK at up to £150 for pay-as-you-go customers by O2, the mobile phone group owned by Spain’s Telefonica. ‘This will be a big one,’ said an industry source.” - Uh OK. Didn’t you say they same thing last year?

Apple has a history of creating an entire product line form one product, e.g. the iPod which comes in a variety of sizes, colors and prices. I personally think an iPhone Nano can either be a hit or miss.

The touch screen keyboard would be the main problem, it already takes up so much of the screen sometimes and if it was any smaller it may be impossible for some peoeple to type with, but maybe Apple has already thought of this. (Slide out Qwerty maybe?)
