iPhone firmware 2.0.1 now available from iTunes

iPhone firmware 2.0.1 is now available from iTunes for iPhone and iPhone 3G owners. If your iPhone is unlocked or jailbroken with PWNAGE Tool it would be wise not to upgrade until it has been tested with the new firmware 2.0.1.
This latest firmware was found to only have some updates and fixes that will hopefully fix some of the problems some users are experiencing with 2.0 on first gen and 3G iPhones
The iPhone Dev Team posted a couple weeks ao that PWNAGE 2.1 will work with the new firmware:
Here’s a screenshot of 2.1 running on an unlocked iPhone 1G. Pwnage remains in effect. Unlike all other jailbreaks (and unlocks for 1G), we believe Pwnage to be fixable only via a hardware revision. So far Pwnage has worked for 1.1.4, all eight (!) 2.0 betas, 2.0 itself, and now 2.1 beta1.
I’ll try to PWN a 2.0.1 firmware with the latest PWNAGE Tool and post an update, but until then please dont update, and check back for any updates on PWNAGE from the Dev Team
Firmware 2.0.1 along with all the other iPhone firmwares are available for download here
Update: The new firmware 2.0.1 does not work with WinPWN
Update 2: The new Firmware 2.0.1 does not work with the current version of PWNAGE - stay tuned for updates.
Update 3: First Gen iPhone owners can update to 2.0.1 and still remain unlocked, but will loose jailbreak and Cydia etc. Looks like Apple has given up on locking first gen iPhones, for now.
