From the Forum - GTS World Racing for iPhone and iPod Touch

I recently purchased GTS World Racing for the iPhone and iPod Touch. It cost $7.99 USD from the AppStore, which at the time didn’t seems that bad, but the more I played the game, the more I realized it should have cost about $4.00 less.
The game uses the iPhone and iPod touch built in accelerometer to accelerate, brake and steer around 64 tracks in 16 worldwide locations, using 3 different car types and you can choose between 4 difficulty levels.
Game Features:
- Four Race Modes
Single Race - check out the tracks and practice your skills before heading for the main event
Challenge Cup - race at all 16 locations and achieve the required finishing position for your chosen difficulty
Grand Tour - complete all 64 tracks in 16 locations and achieve the required finishing position in each race
Championship - complete the full 16 race season and score the most points to win!
- Accelerometer for Steering, Accelerating and Braking
- Use iPod Library for Music
- Pause/Continue Gameplay
Game play is ok at best, it reminds me of the old Ridge Racer and other old NES racing games. The graphics are nothing really to rave about and some of the tracks are really easy and boring.
Another thing that annoyed me was if you tilt the screen too far forward, you see an annoying red screen appear saying that you have tilted it too far. I think it would have been better to either let the user put the pedal through the floor and drive how they wish or let them realize the hard way they can’t see anything with the screen that far tilted forward. Tilting the screen back to brake is also kind of annoying, I think a simple screen tap with your thumb would have been better. - Oh well.
The Formula Car is a bit more challenging, but after a few races with that you realize that almost every race is the same, Compared to my current favorite racing game from the AppStore, Crash Bandicoot Nitro Cart, this game needs allot of help. In My opinion this game needs online updates, new tracks, prize cars and better graphics. If you have purchased this game let me know what you think. iTunes Link
