FuriouSim Tests on the iPhone 3G - It Works - Video

Well I ordered a FuriouSim a couple weeks ago, and after a couple emails asking the whereabouts of my package, I finally received it this morning via DHL. One FuriouSim and one USB Sim reader/writer. It also came with three 3M two sided tape pieces that were cut to fit the FuriouSim and Sim card perfectly.

I had to cut my card a little more than it already was cut for previous testing of X-Sim, UltraSim and others on previous firmwares. It still left enough of my Sim card so that it can still work in my old iPhone and other phones. (mine was cut on the slanted top corner already). The chip is placed in the middle on the card and is pretty small.

Installing the two sided tape on the FurioSim was a delicate patient process. I actually damaged the first piece of 3M tape, and took my time with the second and then stared making the video below. This is my iPhone 3G 16GB white that is currently activated via AT&T (not jailbroken or PWNED). It is running iPhone firmware 2.0 for the iPhone 3G. Next I will be jailbreaking and activating via PWNAGE Tool or QuickPWN.

3G - Not working, signal is lost

Wifi - Working

It’s only been an hour or so since I inserted the FuriouSim, and others have reported that the problems of dropped calls and ‘No Service” errors only come after a couple days so we’ll see. Check out the video below, any questions please don’t hesitate to post them in the forum.
