Any-Network Sim Tested on iPhone 3G - Epic Fail, No Sim Error, Got Stuck - Do Not buy!

Well take one sweet brand new looking iPhone, insert one shabby looking Any-Network.com Sim, what do you get. Angry.
I was warned, and should have known better. The Any-Network Sim arrived with a spare sim tray, I immediately know something was up. Looked like they anticipated a problem and were attempting to fix it before I could lodge a complaint. The sim card also didn’t fit the Apple SIm tray properly either. So i trimmed it down, got it fitting perfect and decided to go brave, as I was hoping that data would work.
As I squeezed it into my pearly white iPhone 3G - No Sim.. f___k. This is going to be a long night.
An Hour later - I now have a broken sim tray and my new iPhone 3G looks like its been through hell. I was ten seconds form taking it apart(actually removed the screws and was looking for a suction cup to remove the screen) when I finally said fudge it and yanked the broken sim tray out.
OH by the way did I mention that it didn’t get any service, the iPhone said NO SIM, not even NO Service..

pressha…
same problems here with xsim sigma alpha v3.
Don’t buy it.
My RebelSim is still working and hopefully will continue to do so. I have an extra one and you are welcome to try and see if it works for you. Sorry to hear about your tray.
HEy!! Lets boi-cot the monkey sucka……….hope you have a video to show another money scam B!@#CH!!!
i have the any network v2 and works great, no issues whatsoever :p … the v1 didnt look too promising, didnt like the idea of having to cut a sim
well i had the version one, i could have dealt with it being stuck, but the no sim error and being stuck, no.
if it was stuck atleast it could have been working..
I have the version 1 and it worked fine. I’ too at firsrt got a no sim error but took it aout and put it back in again and it worked. I must admit the verson 1 is tight . Thats why i bought the new one. Same again .. works fine with no problems at all. You must have caught it on the way in and damaged it.
“links” how can you say its a scam. “How many scam merchans do you know have a sales and technical support line and answer it. When i had the no sim message on my version 1 chip i simply rang up and they talked me through it.
anyway. happy days… i now have my phone unlocked on any network thanks to the Any-network device
I had a rebelsimcard and it did the same and got stuck. Thats why i bought the Any-Network 2 version as its slimmer and didnt require the sim card cutting. works great, no problem at all.
Did you ring Any-Networks support line as they are very helpfull. You must have just got a dodge one or damaged it on the way in.
I don’t know what you rambaling on about but my any network device works fine and has been for the last 3 months.. You must have got a faulty one.. as Paul says did you ring the support or just thought sod it I will write a blog saying it does not work..
This is the problem about the internet . You have a good product but no body says the good things about it only the bad.
keep up the good work any network ..
i’ll tell you why, they offered a full refund via paypal, which i never got, contacted them about a replacement that I also never got..
so if yours is working, I am happy for you, but i certainly didnt start the blog to rag on Any-Netwoks sim hack… you either work for them or are on a network that allows their sim hacks to work, our local network bumps these sim hacks off after a few days or weeks..
and dont think its only Any-Netowrk that got the rod from me, if you read more than this page you’ll see..
cheers.
Aaron.. Many People are talking about the Turbo Sim being stable on the 3g..
I trust your feedback and have emailed you before .. Thinking about getting 3G with Turbo Sim..but as I understand the phone needs to be jailbroken first.. Whats the deal is this for real ..How reliable is the service if so???
I would honestly wait, the dev team seem to be making allot of progress with a software unlock. It should be available in the next few weeks or so. hopefully in time fr christmas
Hey there, I also tried that specific looking dodgy sim thingy, as the luck on my side I got both in the sim card and the thin thingy in over my sim card.
Then I tried getting it out, folowed advice on other forum’s like a copper paperclip to jam the thing out, after an epic fail my sim tray was broken on the top part, and im to afraid putting it back because i dont know if im going to get it out again.
What is the chances I could have damaged the inside with this ordeal?
man, sorry to hear that… i highly doubt that you damaged the phone itself, maybe only he eject mechanism (like mine). I use a paperclip hooked to pull the tray out now..
my sim tray goes in and out easy though (i use tape on the sim card to pull the tray (with card) out with the sim hack etc.. (last i was using post it sticky bookmark tabs - really really thin precut scotch tape tab with a non stick part (colored) that i would let pop put the sim tray and then trim to suit..
make sure the tape is very very thin..
but I have stopped using my 3g as all the sim hacks have stopped working…
Thx my boy I really appreciate it, will try to use the scotch tape manouver.
