iPhone Dev Team PWNED update - iPhone 3G Jailbreak

The Dev Team have updated their blog with a new screenshot of their highly anticipated PNWAGE Tool for the iPhone, iPod Touch and now officially the iPhone 3G. They have also included a new video showing the what they say is the worlds first Jailbreaked iPhone 3G running their own applications on iPhone 2.0 firmware.

ericasadun - Several readers want to know whether you personally have an unlocked 3G iPhone right now. (Some mention “on your person”, “in your pocket”, and “in your hands”)
pytey - I can’t comment on that right now.
To most this video will not mean anything and everyone will think that the Dev Team spent all this time doing the graphics for the PWNAGE tool interface, the trained eye will see that they are logging in via SSH/Terminal and have gotten write access and have PWNED the iPhone 3G.
“So some might think we’ve been twiddling our thumbs or sat on our hands, but this couldn’t be further from the truth.
That truth is that we’ve have added a little feature that a few people might like. Here is a screenshot of the new and improved device selection screen.
What you are seeing is the world’s first jailbroken iPhone 3G running our own software. I think you’ll agree that this was worth the wait.
This isn’t a release announcement, but all I can say is that we are working very hard ;-)”
This is great news and surely worth the wait for all of you 3G owners, have a little more patience and you’ll certainly get a very easy to use tool with lot’s of great features.

“We are not holding back on a release to make a UI prettier, we are not working on drop-shadows, pretty UI elements or color-schemes, we know a fantastic graphic artist that just deals with this stuff for us, so we don’t waste any time there, we are just making sure that everything is OK, everything is tested and everything is safe, also the posting of videos and blogging doesn’t use any time as videos are taken in “down time” when we are celebrating progress or a specific achievement (remember how we said this is a hobby and fun), video making, blogging and other public facing activities come second, the real work comes first.”
