Rumor - Apple Distributors get Mystery Box with NDA Warning - Do Not Open until June 10th

This looks like some kind of joke, but hey, it’s only a few days before the WWDC and the hopeful announcement and availability of the highly anticipated 3G iPhone and Firmware 2.0.
I saw this little brown box posted on Hackint0sh (and originally on this Australian blog) that is supposedly from Apple and has a sticker on it saying:
“SUBJECT TO TERMS OF NDA DO NOT OPEN UNTIL TUESDAY JUNE 10TH, 2008.”
So obviously people are thinking it is the 3G iPhone - I must admit that I did read somewhere earlier about Australian distributors claiming to have received the same packages. I guess we will have to wait and see whats in them or if someone will leak the contents.

There have also been spy shots from some sneaky reporter of what is being assumed to be huge piles of iPhones in some brown cardboard boxes.

“an enterprising reporter staked out the West Coast distribution center of Quanta Computer — a trusted Taiwan-based Apple manufacturer — and came back with photos of large stacks of brown cardboard boxes presumed to hold 3G iPhones (see here),”

I know if I had one I would have opened it, I wouldnt have posted the photos or info, but I wouldnt be able to resist ![]()
