MyTriniPhone wins Grand Prize for Simplified Entry in iLounge 3G Design Contest

Not even a week after I posted that I saw so many great designs submitted for the iLounge Design the next 3G iPhone Competition, the results have been posted and I am shocked. I actually won a prize! Grand Prize in the Simplified Entries category to be exact. I am so deeply humbled. It was for this design. Click on the image for full size.
I must thank my online buddy g for his input into the design as he guided / prompted / bugged me to make it look like what his ’source with sauce’ said it should look like. (based on my/his/their personal preference and insider info on the 3G iPhone)
“…Finally, Grand Prize in the Simplified Entries category went to the 3G iPhone design of Aaron Besson of Trinidad + Tobago. Sporting a white back, a slimmer, more curved profile, and only modest changes to the phone’s overall design, we wouldn’t be surprised if the real iPhone 2 ends up looking quite similar.”

Thanks iLounge, unfortunately I am outside the USA, so I don’t think I qualify to win the 3G iPhone, but I may ask for it to be delivered as a ‘gift’ to my friends in Louisiana. If not I will gladly settle for the cash prize or whatever I am offered, thanks ![]()
