Ebay is being confirmed by CrunchGear (and now by the announcement at WWDC 08) as one of the first Apps that will be available via the upcoming AppStore. An Ebay big-wig is supposed to be taking the stage to discuss the app and what services will be included.

Via Mac Rumors and iPhoneAlley’s live blog/stream.

“Next up — eBay. Demonstrating Auctions on the iPhone that began development just 5 weeks ago. Incorporates much of the typical eBay functionality.”

Ebay and the like I am sure have been waiting for almost a year to start developing apps for the iPhone and the SDK has made this possible, and we will be seeing allot of big companies like Ebay making leaps and bounds in the iPhone App arena as the iPhone (3G or not) is the perfect platform for mobile apps that allow customers as well as businesses (sellers) to interact with and use their services.
