PhoneZap - Geotagging, Photo Sharing, Messenger and Ringtoner all in one iPhone app

I was about to call it a night, when i decided to refresh the ol Installer and see what popped up, among some other juicy updates and apps, i found this new one, (new for me at least) called PhoneZap. I thought it was a thaser toy or something, but then I saw that it’s like the swiss army knife of apps, it does all kinda cool stuff

PhoneZap features Geotagger, Messenger, Photo Sharing and comments, Create Ringtones. First thing i noticed was how well PhoneZap worked and how quickly I was online and able to take a quick shot of my dog, just doing what she does best, and upload it to the site.

Then I checked and yup, there it was, and immediately I was seeing allot of other people using the app. Other people on the other side of the world now waking up and me now going o bed, it was kinda infectious to see what and where everyone was from. I saw some other Staffordshire and Pitbull owners and commented on their photos.

BUT - Most scary of all is how many naked dudes got the instant impulse to get naked and go fully monty and post it on the web for everyone to see - uhhh ok guys, reminds me not to touch other peoples iPhones, and that they have taken multi touch too far, and ok, enough touch jokes,.

I then wanted to check out the Ringtones feature, as Ringtones and its partner in crime SkrewCommon or whatever have been doing a number on my phones recently and skrewed them up, so an alternative is welcomed. PhoneZap worked and was so easy to use. It instantly imported my song, allowed me to set the start time and created the 20sec ringtone for me SWEET!!

I have not been able to test the messenger, as its so bloody late, I haven’t gotten anyone else to try it out yet LOL, but this is one very cool app. It can be found on Installer on your iPhone so install and enjoy!

What was great was the fact that the website PhoneZap.com was a portal for all this content being uploaded and created right there on teh website, you can upload ringtones (a couple minutes ago I saw a feature to upload videos - so I am sure that will eb coming to this app/service soon either via PhoneZap or iPhone Video Recorder. I can see the PhoneZap community growing incredibly fast and being used for all sorts of things from hooking up with friends to meeting new ones from around the world with the same interest as you.
