Apple 3G iPhone launch date confirmed - June 9th at WWDC

By Aaron Besson at 20 May, 2008, 12:18 pm

We all knew Apple was going to launch the iPhone at the WWDC on June 9th, but Gizmodo is saying that they have confirmation that the iPhone will not only be announced but also will be available immediately in some countries that same day, with roll out in other countries coming soon after.

With the iPhone in 61 Countries now, and with them changing their sales policy in some of these countries allowing in some cases more than one carrier to sell the iPhone, it is still unclear if Apple will sell the iPhone with absolutely no contracts or individual carrier dependencies.

Stay tuned for more info and updates.
