OrbLive Stream TV, Internet TV, WebCams and more to your iPhone



Orb Networks has announced the world’s first live TV player, Internet TV, and Webcam viewer on your iPhone or iPod Touch. They have managed to optimized the video stream to work over WiFi and Edge (and of would of course be better over 3G).

How to install on your PC
Works on Windows PCs (or on Macs running Parallels or Fusion)

  1. Install the Orb streaming application
  2. Create your login and password
  3. To watch live TV or a webcam you will need a TV turner card or webcam attached to your PC
  4. Leave your PC on and connected to the Internet so it can stream stuff to your iPhone or iPod touch

How to Instll on your iPhone:

  1. Click on the Installer icon in your iPhone
  2. Click the Install icon
  3. Go to categories and search for OrbLive
  4. Click Install at top right
  5. Click Install in the popup that appears
  6. When the package has installed, tap on the OrbLive icon
  7. Enter the login and password you created when you installed Orb on your PC
  8. Enjoy



This is a really cool application that offers allot of options for streaming video not only to your iPhone but also other devices.

Once you’ve downloaded and installed Orb to your home PC, login to mycast.orb.com, using any internet-connected device with a streaming media player (mobile phone, PDA, laptop) and start MyCasting all your digital media anywhere anytime. Orb is also compatible with all major gaming consoles — the Wii, PS3 and Xbox — so you can now enjoy your media on your TV screen as well!
