Exactly a week after DrunkenBass and uShow.com opened registration for the highly anticipated uHSow Video Recording app for the iPhone and we are yet to be notified of any progress and or word on a release date. Unfortunately people who had registered (including myself) have not even so much as gotten an email notifying them of any progress or even saying that your email was received. At this point I would even settle for a Dear John email.

It’s a shame too, as DreamCatcher came out of nowhere and was able to steal the spotlight with the release of their commercial app, iPhone Video Recorder. uShow does promise to have allot more features, including ability to upload your video to various Web Services, screen capture as video/photos and a butter GUI, but at this point does that really matter? Can uShow upstage VideoRecorder? As far as features - yes, as far as timing and delivery - no.

What are your feelings on this? Have you purchased (or haxored) iPhone Video Recorder by DreamCatcher or are you waiting for uShow from DrunkenBass?? Lets just say I am waiting patiently, but I am not holding my breath, iPhone Video Recorder is working great and the updates keep making it better, but I am looking forward to what DrunkenBass will come out with. His app seems to be the more polished looking of the two and definitely packs allot more features from the looks of it. So head over to uShow.com and register and poke DrunkenBass with a stick untill he updates us.
