You gotta love these ‘friend of a friend’ stories where someone says that his fathers friends wife told them that the iPhone will have sharks with laser beams on it. But this time the ‘friend of a friend’ story is that new upcoming 3G the iPhone will have GPS. Funny enough this story comes from a very reputable source, Silicone Alley Insider.(not that the ‘anonymous tip’ is fact), but they also recently reported another ‘friend of a friend’ told them the iPhone will have a 3MP camera, video recording, ability to upload vids to YouTube and 32GB of storage - whew - sweeet
This comes quick on the heels on the Mossberg retracting the statement that the 3G iPhone will be released in June. I think it just adds to the rumor mill, but is a clear sign of what the people want besides what has already been released in the beta firmwares.
