iPac3D and Yeti3D - 3D games for the iPhone

I mentioned yesterday how much I thought of a first person shooter or RPG when I used CubeWorld for the first time, and then I looked at what other apps the developer had to offer and stumbled across iPac3D. and Yeti3d and felt pretty dumb to see that they were around for a while. You just run like hell from the bad guys, and collect the pellets, and when you get the “purple power pellet” you can run into the bad guys, instead of being bludgeoned to death by them.
So far there are only about 15 playable levels, but the use of the accelerometer makes the game play addictive and fun, please enjoy if you have not tried it out already.

Then there is Yeti3d, this is the real first first-person shooter for the iPhone (as far as I can tell, please correct me if I am wrong). It immediately made me think of Marathon by Bunjie (makes of Halo) back in the day. At only about 350K download form installer, I am amazed with amount of graphics packed in there, I am sure they can bump up the resolution and make the graphics richer, but its very nice and game play is smooth. Exactly where gaming should be going on the iPhone.
Add the following to your Installer sources to install Yeti3D: http://www.marcogiorgini.com/iPhone/plist.xml
Hope you enjoy them, I am ![]()
