Well, it may be a bit too late and announced before it has been released, but Zibri (insert drama here), is claiming that he has created a new 4.6BL unlock for 1.1.2 and 1.1.3 iPhones.

It’s by far the most simple program to setup your iPhone.
Just run it and you will see it.

Usage: ziphone [-u] [-a] [-j] [-i imei]
-u: Unlock (Only for 4.6 BL)
-a: Activate
-j: Jailbreak
-i: Change imei (Only for 4.6 BL)
-v: Verbose boot (debug)
When you visit the site, you don’t get much more info that that. I don’t know what to make of it yet, but another unlocking option seems to be just around the corner.

Hey bezman, have you tried this on a phone yet? I’m interested to see how easy it has become! No wifi needed, no downgrading to 1.1.1, no hardware unlock.. no problem!
How much easier can it get? These guys have really been outdoing themselves.
i have done this on 9 (yes NINE) phones today, from 1.1.2-1.1.3’s -even a 16GB 1.1.3
go forth and -j -a -u
all my friends with 1,1,2 and _Sims came by this afternoon
4-5 mins each and they were unlocked and throwing away their _sims
