The Hypercards reached Trinidad on the 23rd of December but I didn’t get them till the 27th cause the office was closed, and no one was there to collect it from DHL. Once i got them I called Anne and Danielle to come get them and walk with their boyfriends sim cards to be butchered.
As this was my first try at using a HyperCard for the iPhone, I knew it was going to be a little tricky to get the sim cut jsut right. Anne showed up first and happily donated Dominic’s card to be cut, with a steady hand and toenail clipper in hand I got to work. We quickly realised that the template they gave us was slightly different to how his bMobile sim was, so unfortunately our first attempt was not looking so good.
But Anne and Danielle wouldnt give up, Daniel happily donated Omar’s sim card to be butchered by yours truely again. This time with the template positioned correctly (Omar’s card was different from Dominic’s - see image - not actual photo) and once inserted into the HyperCard with the cut bMobile sim, it worked on the first try, fantastic! The both jumped for joy (as getting a nwe card for Dominic is/was easy)
Dominic’s was similar to the one on the left, Omar’s was similar to the one on the right.(this is not how the cards were cut, this is for example only)
So this is great news as an alternative unlocking method for 1.1.2, tested by yours truely.
